Leslie F. Vermut President Leslie Vermut has specialized in securities analysis and portfolio management since 1971. Her career includes positions with Irving Trust Co., Marine Midland Bank, and Teachers Insurance and Annuity Association – College Retirement Equity Fund (TIAA – CREF) one of the world’s largest endowment funds. She provided securities analysis for the management of $1 billion of assets and actively managed a $100 million model portfolio. Ms. Vermut has taught graduate courses in securities analysis at Pepperdine University. She currently chairs the Finance Committee of Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, advising on their financial management and budgeting process. Ms. Vermut is Co-Vice Chair of the Investment Committee of Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, advising their endowment. Her community service includes membership on the Board of Directors of Cedars – Sinai Medical Center. Ms. Vermut is a member of The Blue Ribbon of the Music Center of Los Angeles and is Treasurer of the Brentwood Homeowners Association. Weinberger Chief Investment Officer Thomas Weinberger has over thirty years of comprehensive financial experience. Prior to founding the firm he was a Managing Director of Oppenheimer & Co., Inc and headed the West Coast Investment Banking group. Mr. Weinberger subsequently served as President and Vice-Chairman of Sutro and Co., Inc. He is past District Chairman of the National Association of Securities Dealers Regulation (NASDR) and a past Chairman of its Disciplinary Committee. He has served on the NASDR’s National Corporate Financing Committee. Mr. Weinberger’s community service includes membership on the Board of Directors of the Music Center of Los Angeles, where he also serves as Treasurer and is on the Executive Committee. He serves on the UCLA School of Public Health's Dean's Advisory Board and the UCLA Medical Center and Cedars-Sinai Medical Center's BioEthics Committees. Mr. Weinberger earned a B.B.A. from Case Western Reserve University, a M.B.A. from New York University’s Stern School of Business and a M.A. from the Medical College of Wisconsin.
